Hain has also targeted Tom Levitt, Martin Linton and Laura Moffatt to join him, which is a big problem because they serve as PPS to Hilary Benn, Harriet Harman and Alan Johnson respectively, all three of whom are (like Hain) declared candidates for Deputy Leader.
