New Battersea Station on West London Line Plan

Battersea MP Martin Linton took his campaign for a station in Battersea High Street to the Commons last week when he put a question to rail minister Chris Mole. Battersea Station was closed after being bombed in an air-raid during the Second World War and it was never re-opened after the war. The station is on the West London Line between Clapham Junction and the newly-opened Imperial Wharf station in Fulham.
