Tighter legislation on crane safety came a step closer on Monday when Battersea MP Martin Linton tabled an early day motion in the House of Commons to gather support for an improvement in crane safety standards.

T&G Joins Crane Campaign

building.co.uk runs a story about the T&G union joining their campaign for increased crane safety on building sites. They quote Martin Linton.

Speaking at the Battersea service last Thursday, local MP Martin Linton said: “Now is a time to remember and to learn. Over crane safety, the public and construction workers share the same interest.”
